I am a big fan of anything honey. A spoonful a day to keep me sweat and healthy. I also use beeswax to wax the thread I use in sewing text blocks for my handmade books.

I buy local honey for its great taste and health benefits. I have not had a cold sense I began taking a spoonful of a day. Knock on wood! I also use local honey in my canning endeavors. I make a "Sweet Heat" BBQ sauce that is honeylicious.

They have hives all around town. My favorites are "Highland road" and "The old bridge". If you are a honey lover like me stop by the Breada farmer's market every Saturday from 8a.m. to noon.
